So what did we get up to this weekend?
And there were cheese plates and Lush masks during intermissions.
The Blogshop class pretty much blew online learning out of the sky. Fireworks, people. I feel like Cait and I can design the crap outta this blog now.
Blogshop is photoshop for bloggers. Students are prepared with the core photoshop skills (and shortcuts!) they need to run their blogs and businesses. The well-dressed cherries on top are the ladies behind Blogshop: Bri Emery, queen of the blogosphere and designlovefest (whom we’ve been following for years) and Angela Kohler, pro photographer extraordinaire. These two break it down and make photoshop less intimidating and explain every nuance and detail of the program incredibly well. Bonus points for being easy on the eyes.
The lovely duo has been running Blogshop as an in-person class for the past 3 years, which made it difficult for us folks in Cambodia to get to. When the online blogshops started happening, we were in. It only took a few months of coordination to get us in the same place for the class, but we did it! Screw years (15 of them!) of teaching myself how to use Adobe Photoshop. We feel like pros and can’t wait to get this blog week going.
If you’re interested in amping up your own mad photoshop skillz, check out this video. Angela and Brie are amazing instructors. Video here.
