I have been doing a lot of drawing the past few weeks and some of the sketches have turned out pretty well. Some of the sketches are garbage, but that’s how it goes. What I really like is drafting and figuring out how to get the stuff in my head onto paper. I still don’t know what I’m doing, and I look at a lot of pretty pictures during the day for inspiration.

I love long lines and maxi skirts today so I am trying my hand at designing one. After a few market runs, I found the fabric I want. It’s a little bit geometric, a little bit floral. This is the rough draft of what I am thinking and I will report back on how it turns out next week.
