While my brewing skills will never be up to the levels of this lady, I’m still a lover of coffee and everything that comes with it.  One of the highlights about being back in Phnom Penh is getting my morning cuppa at this place and one of the delightful surprises while in Toronto was becoming a regular at Manic Coffee and discovering a whole new level of “conversations with baristas,” (which should definitely be the name of a podcast).

I recently listened to Grace Bonney of Design*Sponge wax poetic on the benefits of a high quality cup of coffee in the morning as part of her morning uniform (listen here) and I completely agree.  So in the midst of this jet lag haze, I re-discovered this little ode to a good café (Handsome Coffee Roasters in this case) from the folks at Life&Thyme (who also have a new mag!).

It all goes hand in hand.  A good cup of coffee and a great café to have it in.  Totally makes my day.  So many new friendships have been made to and then enriched; and that all happened on the stools of the Kettlebell Café just around the corner from me.  I’m so excited to get back there this morning.
