I arrived in Phnom Penh at 11am this morning after a red-eye from Kathmandu. This lead me to confront a couple of things:
- It’s 44°C/107°F in Phnom Penh.
- I really regret dropping my takeaway bag of buffalo chili momos while getting out of my airport taxi last night. Which means I did not eat enough momos.
But I am happy to report that we had quite the adventure in Nepal! We had originally planned for a Travel Week to feature posts from some of our favourite people, but then a less than sublime head cold, some super-slow wi-fi, and general Nepal fun got in the way. But mostly let’s blame it on the super slow Internet. Also…dust.
So it’s Monday, and some of you may be recovering from whatever New Year you were celebrating in your respective South(east) Asian country. Or maybe, it’s just a regular Monday for you. In any case, you should watch this (below). I’m not even going to tell you what it’s about because you should very much take five minutes out of your work day (and other forms of procrastination) to watch this. The above photo should give you a clue. Then have a scroll through this. Happy Monday!
